Why you can't control life these days
WHY LIFE IS HARD TO CONTROL THESE DAYS?
Life's a cluttered attic, overflowing with knick-knacks that snag our souls. We chase shiny objects that leave us feeling hollow, then stare at the empty calendar with existential dread gnawing at us. Is it just me, or does the meaning of life vanish when the TV's off and the phone's silent? We become tangled in a web of "shoulds" that leave us feeling guilty and lost, unsure what truly matters in this whirlwind. The world throws curveballs – events we can't control that leave emotional bruises or scar us with unwanted sights. Maybe someone twisted your heart, or maybe you stumbled upon a truth you weren't ready for.
Life's like a fast-forward movie these days. What if we hit the pause button for a sec? Is this what you pictured yourself doing on rewind?
Human lives are brief and trivial, yesterday a blob of semen; tomorrow embalming fluid, ash. Our time is limited on this beautiful planet, we don’t have millions of years to live. So, we need to hurry the fuck-up and decide what truly matters in our lives. You can leave this earth right now, let this thought determine whatever you do in your life.
If you seek tranquility, do less or more accurately do what’s essential.
You have to understand this, any harmful event that happened to you, do not label it as something evil or bad but look closely and understand the event and dissect the event to see what lessons it might hold. Then, decide how much value and energy you'll give it. Another way to think about it: Examine the situation closely and understand that you are unharmed by it. No one could have borne it without some difficulty, but it was you who stood there unshaken and powerful. So, make this your daily slogan: When something bad happens and threatens pain, remember – the event itself is not misfortune at all; to endure it and prevail is great good fortune.
